Review: Brendan Fraser on Fire This Summer

Alvin and I went to see The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor today. Rick O'Connell, Brendan Fraser, just can't seem to leave Mummies alone, and it seems the apple didn't fall far from the tree. Rick and Evie's son, Alex, has uncovered the Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. I guess you can figure out where it went from there.

The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor
was an exciting, humorous, adventurous movie and I loved every second of it. It's a must see. Everyone did a fantastic job in it. And I'll definitely be going to see it again.

Lucky for me, it wasn't the first movie I've seen Brendan in this year. Just weeks ago he had another blockbuster released. Journey to the Center of the Earth:

Now, you've got to see this one in the 3D format its been released. This is the old Jules Verne story Journey to the Center of the Earth with a twist. Trevor Anderson, played by Brendan Fraser, is a scientist determined to find his long lost brother. His journey takes him, along with the nephew he's babysitting, to Iceland and ironically, to the center of the earth. That's when he discovers every word written in the Jules Verne classic is absolutely true. Every exciting, death defying, jurassic portion of it. It will take the collective wits of Trevor, his nephew and the mountain guide to return home. In the process, they also learn the fate of Trevor's brother. Walden Media has another hit with this movie. I've been to see it twice and loved every 3D second of it.

Both of these movies are family friendly and I think must adds to to the home family movie library. So grab you family and head to the theater for some popcorn, candy, pop and a great movie . . . even two of them!
