Utah Celebrates Israel, Fortresses of Courage

It hasn't been easy, I'll tell you that much! About every obstacle that could have come our way, has, but tomorrow is the day. It is a day which will be marked in history and citizens all over the world, but especially in America, stood with Israel in defiance of our government clearly stating they prefer the Arab world over our Israeli ally.

Many have asked me why I always stand with Israel, and it is really a very simple thing. I am a deeply religious woman, as such I have studied the scripture and my faith deeply, it has been made very clear by the Lord in various scriptures that to turn on Israel is to bring dire consequences to that nation. More so, the Jews are the Lord's people, whether they recognize Him as their "Messiah" or not. And while other people bleat out anti-Semitism as a mantra, that is something which will never come from heart or my lips.

So tomorrow, I will stand with Israel at Utah Celebrates Israel, Fortresses of Courage. It is going to be quite an event.

I hope to see the room completely filled with Americans who truly understand how closely our national fate is tied with Israel's. Restoring Courage is about remembering who we are and why we are that shining city on a hill to the world, and especially to Israel. They are tough, no question. They can withstand any attack, but I believe that we, as a nation, need to not turn our back on our allies. And Israel is our ally.

Glenn Beck said of these three days in Israel: "Restoring Courage is an opportunity to demonstrate to the world that Israel does not stand alone. Three events will take place as part of Restoring Courage to unite people around the world from all walks of life in standing with Israel, reminding us of the need to have faith, honor and courage in our own lives."
