Barack Obama Considering Blanket Amnesty

It is time to flood the White House (202-456-1111) and Congress (Senate and House) with phone calls again, numbers included in case you don't have them on speed dial yet. ... the issue today is Amnesty for illegal immigrants. But I'd also throw in Cap & Trade, which Obama quickly resurrected with the Gulf oil spill. And definitely NO to Elena Kagan as a Supreme Court Justice. There will be more on that tomorrow.

Barack Obama, with every move since he invaded the White House, has spat upon the American people over and over again. He's mocked the Congress and they'd just stood there cheering and clapping wildly as they've been emasculated and our Constitution ripped to shreds. And now Obama is considering a move which will firmly move us from a Republic to a Dictatorship. Oh yes, now it's time to raise your voices and let yourselves be heard. That's a big fat HELL NO!

"Americans are mad. They are mad at the sluggish economy, they are mad at the gulf oil spill and they are mad that President Obama continues to make mistake after mistake. Luckily for the President, he had the longest honeymoon period of any president in recent history. Unfortunately for the President, Americans are waking up from their slumber, paying attention and it isn’t good news.

"When it comes to the illegal immigration issue the majority of legal residents will not accept rewarding those who have broken at least one law. While most states face double-digit unemployment, busted budgets and deteriorating infra-structure, Democrats remain undeterred and march toward amnesty as a way to boost their voting block. This may explain the new Wall Street Journal poll which found 62 percent of Americans think the country is on the wrong track.

If the Obama administration attempts to deem illegal immigration (amnesty) into law, voters will certainly lament their feelings at the voting booth in November." -- Read Original Article.

Forget Congress - Obama May Grant Amnesty by Executive Order

Imagine the possibilities. With the stroke of a pen 15-20 million illegal immigrants could be exempted from deportation.

In an attempt to bypass Congress, the legislative process and our Constitution which guarantees of the people by the people, President Obama has shown signs that he may sign an executive order that will throw sand in the face of the will of the people.

But will the executive order stand judicial scrutiny? If the six-month ban on deep-water oil drilling in the Gulf is any indication, the courts will surely have something to say about the legality of such a bold move by the President on a very divisive issue. -- Read More.

I'm glad my senator, Orrin Hatch, has come down on the right side of this issue. Although my other senator, Bob Bennett, couldn't even be bothered. (Since he lost at convention he's decided he doesn't have to do anything anymore. Which only proves we were right to stop him cold at that very same convention.)

This is a critical issue which lends itself to the very survival of America. Our southern border has been breached by the Mexican drug cartels and our federal government watches, rubbing its hands with glee while Americans are murdered, kidnapped, tortured, raped and robbed. Cartel sniper points have been setup as far north of the border as three counties in and local law enforcement and border patrol are being picked off. Barack Obama has told Americans to leave the southern border cities ... AMERICANS WERE ORDERED BY OUR GOVERNMENT TO LEAVE THEIR LANDS AND ABANDON ALL THEY HAD WORKED FOR. By default, Barack Obama handed the cities along our southern border to the Mexican drug cartels.

We have a cowardly dictator in the White House. There is no other way to describe him. He caters to the illegal population of our country in hopes he can get the votes he wants to stay in power. Hence blanket amnesty, the Democrats really believe they can hold on if they make illegals legal. Because REAL American citizens are ENRAGED by the actions of our federal government. And we're cleaning house. So Obama is building his little civilian army, granting amnesty, killing the Gulf and Gulf states by doing nothing but pushing through Cap & Trade which will bankrupt what's left of the country after Obamacare.

So call, write letters, send email, Facebook about it, Tweet about it, talk to your neighbors, friends, church members, co-workers and educate yourselves and the public. Even now, only 18 months into the Obama presidency, our Constitution hangs by a thread, which Obama with trembling hands is ready snip, and our Congress is culpable.

Here in Utah we ousted our incumbent senator and have chosen Mike Lee as the Republican nominee. He is a principled conservative with working and scholarly knowledge of the U.S. Constitution. He knows our history inside and out so he will not repeat the mistakes of the past (Santayana). Mike understands how a Republic is supposed to work, and knows a republic is a superior form of government to all others, and thus will protect it and our U.S. Constitution, living up to his oath of office.

I've received emails and Facebook messages from across the nation telling me, "We elected our Mike Lee too. His/her name is ..." It's good news from across America, we are making a difference and in a big way. Come November there will be a figurative bloodbath in Washington, D.C. and Congress will be given notice.

Remember, you must hold your officials' feet to the fire, both now and in the future. Be anxiously engaged in the protection of America. Our military fights to protect us, we must give them something worth fighting for, that last bastion of liberty to the world. If liberty falls here, there will be nowhere to turn.

A Bill of Indictment Issued for Barack Obama

I find this very, very intriguing. I could really get behind this indictment if I could only find out if its actually going anywhere. Anyone? All I could find anywhere on the internet is Alan's article, which is included here in its entirety.

Do we have any legislator, in either the House or the Senate, with guts enough to do what the American people are demanding? In addition, I want a warning issued to the rest of the yahoos in Obama's Administration that if they continue to run afoul of the American people the consequences will be politically and professional dire. Is there anyone courageous enough to take this on for the American people?

We, the People of the United States of America, demand that impeachment proceedings be initiated.

Oyez! Oyez! Oyez! All those with business before the court of public opinion will draw near. A bill of indictment has been issued for Barack Hussein Obama, President of the United States of America. It is a call for justice from the people of the United States who allege that he is engaged in the destruction of their nation.

For the court’s consideration, it is alleged:

That he secured the office of President by falsely stating he is a natural born citizen of the United States without providing irrefutable documentation and witnesses thereof,

That he associated with persons known and unknown to hold anti-American views antithetical to the conduct of his office, to include a convicted felon, an unrepentant former domestic terrorist, among too many others to innumerate,

That he has created an unaccountable level of governmental policy-making with the largest expansion of presidential advisors, “czars”, in the history of the executive branch,

That, while in his first six months, he bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia and Emperor of Japan, an act that contradicts the primacy of the office of the U.S. presidency,

That, in contradiction to his sworn duty to protect the nation, he announced the termination of the U.S. space defense system the day after North Korea launched an ICBM,

That he ordered the release of memos regarding the interrogation of terrorists interned in U.S. facilities at Guantanamo, making known to the Islamist enemies of the nation the manner of their interrogation,

That he appointed as Secretary of Homeland Security, an individual who ordered that the word “terrorism” be replaced by the term, “man made disasters,”

That, during his first six months in office, he doubled the U.S. national debt, currently at an unsustainable level, threatening the value of the U.S. dollar,

That he signed into law a “stimulus” bill, the bulk of whose funds were allocated to government employee unions under the guise of generating millions of new jobs in the private sector,

That he signed into law a “Troubled Asset Relief Program” that, contrary to the Constitution, promoted short term private benefit, rather than the general welfare, while evading the constitutional requirement of equal protection, saving some businesses while letting others expire,

That he by-passed the established legal process of bankruptcy to seize control of General Motors and Chrysler auto manufacturers, benefiting unions to the loss of creditors,

That, in collusion with the majority leaders of the House of Representatives and the Senate, he initiated and engineered the passage of legislation that nationalized the healthcare industry despite overwhelming opposition by the American People,

That he has participated in national and international conferences to advocate the discredited theory of global warming and continues to advance Cap-and-Trade legislation based on it; a massive tax on energy use that will undermine the recovery of the economy,

That he has failed to protect the United States by failing to secure its southern border with Mexico and is threatening to take legal action against Arizona, a sovereign State that has passed legislation in lieu of that failure,

That he has consistently advocated “global government” over the sovereignty of the United States,

That he declared his intention to “bankrupt” the coal industry, responsible for one half of the electricity generated to serve the needs of Americans,

That he failed to take immediate and effective action to deter widespread ecological and economic damage to States bordering the Gulf of Mexico following an accident on a BP deepwater oil rig, including a “moratorium” on oil drilling that threw thousands out of work,

That he continues to advocate “a clean energy future” when such energy, solar and wind, exist only because of government subsidies and mandates, are a dangerously unpredictable source of electricity, and produce less than three percent of the electricity generated nationwide,

That two private investigators have asserted he is using a Social Security number set aside for applicants in Connecticut while there is no record he ever had a mailing address in that State and that the number was issued between 1977 and 1979. Obama’s earliest employment reportedly was in 1975 at a Baskin-Robbins in Oahu, Hawaii,

And, for these and other hidden records regarding his birth, his overseas travel to Pakistan, college records, medical records, and other means of verifying a legitimate claim to hold the office of the President,

We, the People of the United States of America, demand that impeachment proceedings be initiated or that cases pending before the courts be adjudicated at the earliest possible time to prevent further damage to the economy and security of the nation.

Mike Lee Emerges as the Winner in the Utah Republican Primary

Last night, Alvin and I were privileged to join Mike Lee, his campaign staff, friends and families, as we watched the results pour in. Mike handled the entire evening with grace, the grace I have seen in him throughout the entire campaign. Utah elected a good, strong man last night to represent the Republican party in the November 2nd elections. We were so happy for him, for Utah and for America. However, the next phase of the election begins:

I am reading all over the place how awful the Mike Lee campaign and volunteers were. Really? Because I have not worked with a more devoted, honest, wonderful group of people in many, many years. Yesterday when I voted and I selected Mike Lee's name it was the first time I'd voted for a candidate without the slightest hesitation. I ask Republicans across the state to stop attacking Mike, and misguided attacks at that, and ask me any and all questions you may have. I will promise to give honest and straightforward answers as I have always have.

There is no place for vicious attacks, spreading misinformation and generally misbehaving at this critical time in our nation's history. We must unite behind the cause of restoring constitutional government to Washington, D.C. If we become frayed at this point we stand a very real danger of losing the entire battle for the restoration of the Republic. Mike Lee is a good, honest man who maintained integrity throughout the entire campaign. While no one can contain the fringe element of any campaign, Mike continually asked his campaign staff and volunteers to stay above the fray and respond with kindness and fact.

It was hard for most of us as Mike was unjustly attacked on many levels from many quarters. Those of us who worked with him know him to be a very good man uniquely qualified to lead us into this next phase of American history. The phase where America rose up and said, "Enough is enough. We gave you your shot and you betrayed us. Now we're sending in men like Mike Lee to straighten out the mess you've created."

With Mike's constitutional background, his career of defending the constitutional rights of his clients, his deep and abiding love of the Constitution, the Republic, history and clear understanding of how we can get America back on track, no matter how hard, Mike will be a fabulous senator. And he knows we will hold his feet to the fire. Please, lose the bias created in you by misguided individuals and look at the man that all of us have come to know and respect.

Regarding the TPX as an outsider. I'm Director of Operations for the Tea Party Express. I'm a natural born daughter of Utah and my great grandmother came across the plains on a wagon train. Just like Mike Lee, I too served a stateside Spanish speaking mission- which along with our love for the Constitution and drive to protect it, is another thing we have in common.

It's nice to throw around the word "outsider" but truly irrelevant when you have establishment "insiders" like Bennet trying to crown his successor. I understand Cherilyn is politicking... but now she's playing on people's ignorance and insulting the Tea Party movement. First MSNBC attacks the Tea Party movement, now Cherilyn Eagar. If she's right and Jim DeMint is establishment, then we are all in very BIG trouble!

If you can see through the smoke and mirrors of the Bridgewater team and his supporters like Miss Eagar, you will see that Mike Lee IS the true Constitutional conservative and Bridgewater is as establishment as it gets. You will then VOTE Mike Lee for US Senate of Utah AND you will get out there and help him win this election!

Mike Lee is facing a deep-pockets wealthy establishment GOP candidate who made his fortune by gobbling up earmarks, government loans and even TARP bailout funds for the companies he represented. Thus, this race has become a critical test for the power of the tea party movement.

And here is my addition to this note:

I have been appalled at the tactics of Tim Bridgewater, Cherilyn Eager and Bob Lonsberry as they have united in their efforts to attempt to destroy Mike Lee. However, Mike Lee has remained true to his message. He has called for the U.S. Constitution to be re-established as the rule of law (and apparently I need to add he isn't calling for a return to 1776 because the Constitution has been amended and he accepts those amendments.) He has called for fiscal responsibility, a strong military with clear, concise goals, the federal government being limited to the powers enumerated in Article 1, Section 8 of the U.S. Constitution, etc. He has asked his campaign and volunteers to remain above reproach. He's asked that no one speak for Tim Bridgewater and he doesn't want anyone in Bridgewater's camp speaking for him.

This is Mike Lee, a man of honor, integrity, courage and strength. With his working knowledge of the U.S. Constitution, he, along with the coalition of conservatives he's already building, will work to restore common sense, reason and ethics to Washington, D.C. Yeah, I know, that last one is going to be difficult.

As such, I have offered to make phone calls for the TPX in support of Mike Lee. Seriously, is anyone snared by these attacks? And if so, SNAP OUT OF IT PEOPLE!

Mike Lee: The Coalition Continues to Grow

Yesterday, we received two major endorsements from nationally recognized Congressmen - Tom McClintock (R-CA) and Ron Paul (R-TX). Both are strong defenders of the Constitution within the House of Representatives.

McClintock said this in his endorsement:

The scene of the crime was 605 South 800 East Orem, Utah. It was staging area 103 of the Orem’s Summerfest Grand Parade. An area assigned to the Mike Lee for U.S. Senate Campaign.

As Mike Lee was rallying his supporters prior to walking in the parade Mike spotted fellow candidate Tim Bridgewater approaching the crowd. The great gentleman that Mike Lee is, he calls upon his supporters to give Tim a warm welcome and a big round of applause.

Tim Bridgewater was late to this parade. He was clearly lost and unsure of where he should be. Tim gave little acknowledgement to the warm welcome and cheers of Mike’s supporters as he aggressively made his way through the crowd. -- Read On

Volunteers Supporting Mike Lee for U.S. Senate, a Labor of Love

I had the privilege of attending tonights Orem’s Summerfest Grand Parade and meet the family, friends, and supporters behind Mike Lee’s run for U.S. Senate. I was very impressed with the true dedication and love these volunteers have for Mike Lee.

Some people say that the measure of a man is not what he says but the company he keeps. Mike has surrounded himself with some of the finest people who truly love the work they are doing.

I enjoyed talking to Mike and hearing his views and opinions. I have found myself agreeing with Mike’s approach to many of my key concerns with Big Government today. Mike has an outstanding image of what he intends to accomplish as a U.S. Senator. Mike has actual plans that will help him achieve his goals. -- Read On

Alexander has heard Mike speak many times, according to his father, and has come to respect and admire Mike tremendously. It looks to me as if that emotion is returned. What a powerful picture.

Mike Lee NOT Another Washington Lawyer, But a Statesman

Mike Lee is NOT just "another Washington lawyer."

Mike Lee is a man who has devoted his life to the preservation of the U.S. Constitution. He is a constitutional attorney who has spent his career defending the constitutional rights of his clients. Mike Lee to Meet With Citizens of Utah County

U.S. SENATE CANDIDATE, MIKE LEE, TO SPEAK IN OREM AT CANYON VIEW JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL.

OREM, UTAH - 10 June 2010 - U.S. Senate candidate Mike Lee will be speaking Tuesday, June 15th at Canyon View. Junior High School (655 East 950 North, Orem, UT, 7:00 p.m.) Mike will review his U.S. Constitution-based platform and conservative values with voters and hold a Q&A session afterward.

Since the release of his TV ad campaign, Mike’s supporters and followers have grown tremendously. “I can't wait to take Utah's values back to the Senate and cast votes against excessive government spending, earmarks and for the repeal of Obama's health care bill,” Mike said recently after casting his early vote on Monday.

Mike has a proven track record of fighting for conservative principles. He fought the Obama administration in reopening 77 oil and gas leases in the Uintah Basin. U.S. Senate Candidate Mike Lee Announces Formation of Military Advisory Committee

June 9, 2010 – Alpine, Utah – U.S. Senate candidate Mike Lee announced the formation of a Military Advisory Committee to assist him on national security and veterans' issues. Lee said, “I am very pleased to have the support of many wonderful veterans from across the state.”

Lee announced Brigadier General Bruce Frandsen (USA Ret), a leader of the Military Officers Association of America’s Utah Chapter and former Assistant Adjutant General with responsibility for the Utah Army National Guard, as Chairman of the committee. “Mike Lee is the strongest candidate in the race in terms of both his stance on and his understanding of the national security and veterans' issues facing America,” said Frandsen, “and I'm honored to serve in this role at this time.” Utah Attorney General Mark Shurtleff, a former Navy Judge Advocate General (JAG), and former Congressman Jim Hansen, who served on the House Armed Services Committee will serve as honorary co-chairs.

Frandsen is also joined on the committee by Colonel Fred Allen (USA Ret), a Vietnam veteran and longtime veteran leader, who has accepted the appointment of Vice Chairman. Other notable members of the committee include Lt. Colonel Chuck Williams (USAF Ret), who served as an Assistant Deputy Under Secretary of Defense in the Bush administration, Lt. Colonel Dan Hudson (USA Ret), who serves as a leader of several veterans groups in the state, and Lt. Colonel Ted Frederick (USA Ret), a former Professor of Military Science at the University of Utah. Also serving as founding members of the committee are several top-ranking retired command sergeant majors including James Slade, Richard DeWolf, Sid Cardon and Joe Spencer.

David Pyne, a former United States Army officer, who serves both as Vice President of the Association of the United States Army’s Utah Chapter and as 2nd Vice President of the Salt Lake Total Force Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America, was announced as the campaign’s National Security Policy Coordinator. Mr. Pyne stated: “This committee was formed in order to provide substantive advice to the U.S. Senate candidate on a number of critical issues, such as how to better prosecute America’s just war against the Al-Qaeda terrorists who attacked us and how to take better care of our veterans and their families.”

In addition to the announcement of the Military Advisory Committee, Mike Lee strongly denounced the recent votes by both the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate Armed Services Committee to repeal the ban on allowing homosexuals to serve openly in the military. “Repealing the ban could potentially threaten the viability of our all volunteer force. I support the current law and think it has served us well. All four military service chiefs have expressed their objection to repealing the ban, and for good reason, as doing so would likely harm morale, cohesion, and combat effectiveness of our military. ”
