We had a Tea Party and Obama Declared War on Hard-working Americans

I wanted to share a little bit of my experience with our tea party this last Wednesday. It rained, sleet came along and then snow. And it was one of the most incredible experiences of my life. Here's the speech I gave:

What a phenomenal, inspiring, motivating experience it was to watch that crowd of American patriots stand there in the bitter cold with rain, sleet and snow drenching them. They were trembling, their lips were blue and their hands bright red. But they stood there, the light of freedom burning brightly within them. I was so proud to stand with them and other patriots from over 2,000 tea parties across the nation.

Hundreds of thousands of Americans took to the streets, parks and plazas of America to protest the wildly out of control spending in Washington, D.C. Concerned their voices were not being heard, this fear was confirmed when Barack Obama said he wasn't really aware of any tea parties and he had something of his own to do. Nancy Pelosi called our ground swell movement sweeping over the nation of angry Americans "astro-turf" rather than grassroots.

Well, we were right, Washington, D.C. isn't listening. In 2010 we are going for a sweep of the entire Congress save a select few conservatives valiantly trying to save our Constitution. We will educate the nation about the Constitution and why a republic is far superior to a socialist/fascist/communist regime. We will educate the nation about the founding fathers and that 3% of Americans who turned the world on its ear and formed a new nation.

Oh, and there is Janet Napolitano's crew over at the Department of Homeland Security who took America's rage of having socialism, shoot we're all the way into fascism now, shoved down our throats. They criminalized our rage toward higher taxes, the destruction of our Constitution and the redistribution of wealth and declared war on hard-working Americans.

The report reads: "(U//LES) Rightwing extremists have capitalized on the election of the first African American president, and are focusing their efforts to recruit new members, mobilize existing supporters, and broaden their scope and appeal through propaganda, but they have not yet turned to attack planning." Apparently I need to say it again, I don't care if Obama is purple and covered with pink dots. I don't care if he's black, white, red or something from out of space. My direct and only problem with the man are his policies. He is a devotee of Karl Marx and he is dismantling our Constitution at a startling quick rate. He is courting the favor of communist leaders. He is ignoring the warnings from the likes of Vladimir Putin to not go down the road of socialism (we left that train stop awhile ago). He is apologizing for America all over the world . . . we apologize for nothing! Well--

I guess we could apologize for stepping into World War I and fighting that battle for Europe.

I guess we could apologize for stepping into World War II and fighting that battle for Europe. We sacrificed the lives of over 400,000 Americans to free Europe from Hitler's violent, insane grip.

I guess we could apologize for the humanitarian care Americans pour out unto the world.

I guess we could apologize for the schools, churches, parks and cities we've rebuilt for nations across the world.

I guess we could apologize for freeing God's children across the world from serial killers masquerading as leaders of nations.

Yeah, you're right. We should have stayed out of all of that.

Anyway, I digress.

Here's a formal letter to Barack Obama, Janet Napalitano, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi

Dear Sirs and Madams,

It has come to my attention that the Department of Homeland Security has decided to label hard-working, patriotic Americans as domestic terrorists. This is, of course, a travesty to say the least.

We oppose the destruction of the republic of the United States of America, not the color of Barack Obama's skin.

We oppose the destruction of the divinely inspired Constitution, not the color of Barack Obama's skin. Oh hey, double whammy on my part, I believe in God and I oppose the destruction of the Constitution.

We oppose the highest tax raise in the history of America, not the color of Barack Obama's skin.

We are deeply offended by the DHS labeling those men and women who suffered and sacrificed to protect this great country as potential terrorists. Someone needs to be taken out behind the woodshed for that one.

We oppose the loss of freedom, not the color of Barack Obama's skin.

So let me say in closing. I am pro-life, pro-2nd Amendment, pro-America, pro-Constitution, anti-communism, anti-socialism, anti-fascism, anti-big government and I LOVE GOD. I believe in the government the founding fathers set up not the one the Obama Administration and Congress are replacing it with. I believe in personal responsibility, strong work ethic, integrity, courage, loyalty and patriotism. I believe, as did Patrick Henry, that God watches over nations. I believe in the Constitution as the rule of law and I believe in the Bible.

I am an American and I will not bow to anything that will destroy this beloved nation of ours.

As such, I denounce the label of domestic terrorist given us and label those great Americans across the land who are standing for conservative values, returning America to its full and complete glory and replace it with American patriot. It was a handful of patriots in 1773 who turned the course of a nation. And we shall do the same now.

God Bless America.

Sincerely,
Candace E. Salima
