Marie on The Tonight Show

Everyone told me how funny this was . . . I missed it. Now I found it on YouTube -- you're right, it's funny. Poor Terry Bradshaw.

  1. I missed it too so it was great to watch it here. She's a doll! Love her.

    Hugs!

  2. Oh, this is so funny. Donny and Marie was one of my favorite shows when I was younger. Marie sounds like she would be so much fun to hang out with. Thanks for sharing this.

  3. I thought that Marie was obnoxious, as she usually seems to be these days. She was about to have a wardrobe malfuncion (skirt wise) and was obviously attempting to soften the blow of the outfits that she was to wear on "Dancing with the Stars".
    I was disappointed..

  4. Have to admit, this is funny. Didn't know that guy's name was also Bradshaw :-) But why the "fly" comment when his weren't undone? Or was that a set up for humor?

I do enjoy and like Marie, but also have to admit to disappointment re dress standards in Dance With Stars. A lot of young women admire her and it must be difficult for parents when girls use her as an excuse for dress choices that are not modest.

  5. Kat - yeah, I thought it was funny too.

HipWriterMama - she definitely has her moments! She's a sweetheart, but with a wicked sense of humor, obviously.

PizzaGuy - I don't know what to say to you. She really is a nice person.

Anne - I didn't see the part previous to that, but I'm guessing Terry Bradshaw came out with his fly unzipped, just from the comments from Jay and Marie.

And yes, I'm a little disappointed in her wardrobe choices as well. They are modest compared to the rest of the crew, but I am surprised she agreed to wear those. Alvin asked me how it was different from wearing a sports uniform, or wearing a swimming suit in a competition -- there is a difference, I just don't know how to point it out to him.

However, she is my friend and I love her. I'm very proud of the amount of work she is putting in to perform every week. She's a professional, no question.

  8. I love her laugh. Her happiness is contagious. I admire her for surviving the celebrity life for 43 years!! She has been through many challenges and has been judged harshly by the media (as are all celebrity's). It would be very hard to have your whole life be public. I love that she is still beautiful and good. I am excited to check out her new Christmas Album. Go Marie!!

  9. I hadn't seen that either. Thanks for posting. I think she's doing quite well on the show--the judges seem to like her a lot.

  10. Hey...that was fun. I watched part of her on the Dancing with the STars that I watched in Hawaii...lol. But hey, I was sooo sad to hear she was divorcing. What a sad thing after 20 years!
