It is my belief...

Those who sit on the sidelines of this great battle for America will suffer eternal consequences, of this I have no doubt. God gave us this promised land to protect and keep safe that His Gospel may go out to all the earth from a free land. We were given the charge to elect good, wise men and women or suffer the consequences of every other nation who has ever graced this earth. Our U.S. Constitution was divinely inspired by wise men the Lord raised up to this very purpose, the establishing of the United States of America. Should we squander this great and glorious gift given us the eternal consequences will be dire.

Those like you and me will continue to fight this great fight which began in heaven. We will protect the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the freedoms which are God-given: which are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Barack Obama and his ilk stand in the way of these eternal gifts and the land that God gave us. We will fight, we will fight together.

Those who refuse to fight will enjoy the fruits of our labors never understanding how close we've come. But the angels of heaven record our actions and God will show favor upon those who did not go quietly into that good night, but instead stood to fight for His land, His gospel and His promises.

So hang in there, my fellow patriots. You have me and all those who stand with us. We are not nut jobs, but are of the type and personality of the 3% who fought the American Revolution and created us a nation. We will preserve it. We will win.

I am America by Krista Branch

I attended the Glenn Beck American Revival last week in Salt Lake City. It was truly amazing at every level. There I heard Krista Branch for the first time. Her song "I am America" is an amazing song which pulled every thought and emotion from my heart and put it to music. She is a wonderful singer and this song is the new anthem for the tea party movement in my opinion.

Listen and see if you do not agree:

The Prayer at Valley Forge
by
renowned and beloved artist
Arnold Friberg

The Arnold Friberg Perpetual Endowment Foundation has offered Prayer at Valley Forge to Valor Customers in a unique offering. The foundation's purpose is to globally promote the values upon which Friberg's artwork is based. These include faith, freedom, patriotism, honor, and integrity. Your purchase of this print will help the foundation to accomplish this purpose.

"THESE ARE THE TIMES THAT TRY MENS SOULS." So wrote Thomas Paine, in words of desperation, written in the darkest hours of our struggle for liberty.

"This magnificent painting, "The Prayer at Valley Forge", clearly demonstrates why Arnold Friberg has achieved fame as the greatest living interpreter of historical, Biblical, and western subjects. Combining rare artistic skill with a profound respect for the most minute historical details, he has imbued his painting with a dynamic realism "unsurpassed by any contemporary inspirational artist". Filled with rich color, strengthened with superb draughtsman ship and historical accuracy, his paintings convey a living realism, a grandeur, and a spiritual force of a particularly masculine kind.

"The picture you see here was painted to recall that winter of 1777-78, at the lowest, most hopeless and discouraging time in our revolutionary war. For the struggling Americans had been defeated by the mighty British army in battle after battle, and were fast losing all hope. It was at such a time that General Washington humbly beseeched his God for the strength and the resolution to endure.

"But Friberg's real power derives from the dedication of his talent to a cause greater than the artist. His art is made to serve. "The Prayer at Valley Forge" was painted to serve the cause of liberty, to remind Americans of the deep spiritual roots of our beloved country, to recall a place of cold, and pain and sacrifice, to pay tribute to the tall and lonely man who alone held the struggling nation together, General Washington, driven to his knees there in the bitter snows of Valley Forge."

Morgan Philpot for Utah's 2nd Congressional District

I have publicly endorsed Morgan Philpot for Utah's 2nd Congressional District against the Democrat, Jim Matheson. For many reasons I have chosen Morgan, but one of the primary is his deep abiding love of the U.S. Constitution. One of my favorite stories about Morgan is from his time on the floor of the Utah State Legislature when he'd hold the U.S. Constitution in one hand and The Communist Manifesto in the other. Want to take a wild guess as to why he did that?

I'll tell you.

He would tell his colleagues which one they were quoting, the Constitution or the Communist Manifesto.

Since I've heard this story, I've had the opportunity to meet Morgan, research him a little more thoroughly and decide Utah would be best represented by Morgan Philpot, a true constitutional conservative over the increasingly liberal Jim Matheson. Morgan Philpot will join with Mike Lee, Jim DeMint, Michelle Bachman, Rand Paul, Ron Paul, Chuck DeVore and others in restoring reason and constitutional government to Washington, D.C.

Although Jason Chaffetz is my own congressman, I recommend those of you in the 2nd Congressional District cast your ballot for Morgan Philpot on November 2, 2010. Let's sweep the incumbents out, save the scant number of conservatives, of which Matheson is not, and get some common sense back into the hallowed halls of our Congress.
